ABC is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and how the virus could impact our workplaces and communities.
Events & education
At this time, ABC of Wisconsin has not postponed any member events or education. If anything is postponed or cancelled, chapter staff will communicate directly with all registrants for their respective events.
As of now, apprenticeship classes will continue as usual. ABC has heard the technical colleges may be making some announcements soon. If/when classes are postponed or cancelled, apprenticeship staff will communicate directly with employer trainers and apprentices.

Of particular interest, please note questions 15 & 16 in the FAQ document, which specifically outline the impacts of quarantines and shutdowns on unemployment benefits and worker’s compensation obligations for those who contract COVID-19 through exposure while working.
In addition, the CDC has several resources available on its website, including information on symptoms, prevention and treatment, situation updates in the United States and abroad, and specific information for communities, schools and businesses.
