The Hamptons at Hilldale

The Hamptons at Hilldale is a 59-unit luxury apartment complex on Madison’s far west side, themed to incorporate elements of a trip to New York?s Long Island seaside. It is comprised of four stories of complex wood framing over precast and underground parking. The community rooms are central features of the building and required thoughtful planning and execution. There is a large exterior patio, which is a great place to take in the views of the Hilldale Mall boutique shops and restaurants. In addition to the complex framing, the masonry work also came with a bit of a challenge, requiring complicated and costly heating within tenting and scaffolding. The project incorporated extensive value analysis and engineering. There were nearly zero change orders as a result of a strong understanding of the client’s desires. Stevens Construction used drones, iPads and Bluebeam software to document details covered up during construction.
