St. Michael’s Hospital – Breast Center

This community-centered masterpiece created a fully-integrated venue for breast care; the only one of its kind in Central Wisconsin. The 9,000-square-foot project by Ellis Construction was a full renovation of existing clinical space built adjacently to fully-functioning hospital space. Some of the biggest challenges included ensuring the surrounding departments were not disrupted, which meant shift work was incorporated into the construction schedule, as well as asbestos remediation, maintaining fire protection and fire/smoke rated separations throughout construction.
