Pioneer Roofing collaborated with R&R Insurance Services to transform a problematic front entrance canopy into an aesthetically pleasing and affordable PVC roofing system with the look of a metal roof. In a value-engineering move, Pioneer Roofing suggested a D?cor Roof system with continuous PVC roof membrane and hot-air welded seams for a long-lasting waterproof system that would match the existing evergreen color palette. The main obstacle with this project was the sloped shape and confined space and ability to work safely. Pioneer Roofing used a guard rail system at the roof leading edges in addition to fall arrest anchor points and harnesses for each worker and used smaller crews to reduce the number of workers on the small roof area. Before installation of the D?cor Roof system, the D?cor Rib profile needed to be measured and laid out exactly to make sure the rib spacing was uniform and parallel to the roof edges.
