N.E.W. Plastics Corp.

Keller designed and built the 7,800-square-foot office addition to serve as N.E.W. Plastics’ new corporate office. N.E.W. Plastics is a leading innovator in plastic recycling technology for more than four decades, making plastic containers and plastic lumber. Their lumber, in combination with stone, brick and grass, makes for an attractive Class A office space in the middle of a small town in Northeast Wisconsin. The two-story entry atrium brings light deep into the office space and makes for a dramatic display of the exposed steel structure and the finishes exemplify the innovative nature of the company. The tight jobsite presented challenges, including no access to the plant side of the building, which called for a long crane for steel picks. Keller built through a harsh winter in Door County to get the job done on time. The finished product is a stunning addition to a unique Wisconsin company.
