Kraemer Brothers completed a 41,000-square-foot precast concrete addition at Klondike Cheese Company in Monroe. This addition, along with the installation of state-of-the-art equipment, allowed the plant to double production of several cheeses. The equipment installation alone took three months, requiring a lot of electrical and mechanical work to bring all the systems together. The contractors also used vitrified tiles for flooring, which are known for high-durability, aesthetics, nonabsorbent qualities, chemically-resistant and easy to clean. Kraemer Brothers also recorded several hours of film with the goal to utilize the footage for a training and quality assurance video.
