In collaboration with Hyatt and Dimension IV, KSW Construction built this non-prototypical, 92,000 square-foot Hyatt Place Hotel, which incorporated Eco-span floor joist systems and prefabricated bearing wall elements. The post and beam construction has metal stud interior and exterior walls, and metal decking. Upper level decks are composite steel and concrete systems. The exterior is composed of aluminum and glass windows, brick and stone veneer and EIFS. This project was completed on time and budget, while battling winter elements. The project also had to incorporate an access point and structural support for a future convention center skyway.
