Joe Daniels Construction completed phase two of the BioGas Facility, which converts methane from cow manure and garbage into natural gas for vehicles and utilities. Daniels self-performed most of the work, which included civil site work, building construction, mechanical piping, electrical work, SCADA/controls wiring, concrete, and installation of several specialized pieces of equipment (including a biogas candlestick flare, a compressed gas offloading system, and a biogas decant system). The facility is the first in the nation to receive biogas from multiple sources and connect the renewable gas with a CNG gas station both locally and throughout the county.
