Co-op Credit Union Remodel

Co-op Credit Union’s vision for this project was to remodel their dated main headquarters to have a modern look and feel, while also providing more efficient spaces to better serve staff and community. The 11,500-square- foot credit union remodel includes reconfiguring interior walls, enlarging restrooms to present day ADA standards, additional office spaces, and efficient flow for various departments. The lobby and waiting area were updated to a modern and contemporary feel with new featured amenities, such as a refreshment station and two tablet stations. Custom vinyl wall coverings were designed and incorporated to portray the credit union’s values. Notable new features include updated energy efficient LED lighting and energy saving controls. Royal Construction faced challenges with scheduling due to the bank remaining open and operational during the remodel. Constant communication with the subcontractors kept the project flow efficient and up to the owner’s expectations. The project was completed well below the initial budget and within the projected schedule course of four and a half months.
