The new building consists of 38,300-square-feet of production space with a 2,500-square-foot mezzanine and 6,800-square-feet of office space. The wall panels are precast concrete over a steel structure featuring a TPO membrane roofing material and steel stud interior walls. The building design incorporates a modern, industrial look highlighting exposed interior precast walls and black-painted structural steel for a unique interior design. The project broke ground in the fall of 2022 and the excavation and foundation were in place before winter weather. The 2022-23 winter proved to be in the top five snowiest winters in our area, but despite Mother Nature’s relentless precipitation, Derrick Building Solutions was able to stay on schedule with the project. “This is a high-quality building with a nice modern industrial look,” Project Manager Casey Ryan said. “We were able to stay on track despite the harsh winter weather conditions when we were working to raise the structural steel and the precast wall panels. Fortunately, the lead times on materials settled and we completed the project on time and on budget,” he added.
