The best companies strive for world-class safety and work to ensure that it is a part of their DNA, guiding their leaders and shaping their corporate culture. Are you ready to make the commitment to improve your safety performance?
Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP), was developed by contractors, for contractors, designed to provide you with an organized approach to analyze and further develop your safety program. This self-audit program provides a valid objective method to measure your safety program and make continuous improvements. It could also be used by your company as safety performance recognition with clients.
Leaders take a stand not to compromise on safety
Safety ambassadors are empowered at every organizational level
Information drives continuous improvement
Metrics are analyzed to deliver better results each year
I have been actively involved with ABC for over 18 years. Within that time, I have submitted many STEP program applications. With that being said, the time and effort that it takes to fill out the application is rewarded back to you and your company tenfold.
As a result, you are not only recognized and presented live with an award at the ABC convention, but if you are honest with filling out the application, you may find some shortfalls with safety in your company. I have used this as a tool to enhance our company safety programs and try to make our employees and company safer.
