Suicide Prevention in Construction

The construction industry has one of the highest rates of suicide.

This 2 hour training includes videos, group discussions/exercises, and interactive discussions to create a better understanding of your role in suicide prevention. During this session you will:

• Learn the importance of talking about suicide in the construction industry
• Identify risk factors and warning signs
• Practice conversations around suicide

At end of this session you will be able to critically think about suicide prevention in order to have an open dialogue about mental health and promote help-seeking and help-giving behaviors.
