Waunakee Heritage Elementary School

Waunakee’s Heritage Elementary School project posed numerous challenges, including a tight schedule and unique design characteristics. Early involvement in the BIM process was crucial, allowing the design team to suggest value engineering adjustments that reduced the building’s height and limited space for mechanical installations. NAMI’s presence enabled effective resolution of these space constraints before construction began. The BIM team coordinated with all the trades to ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems remained accessible for future maintenance, showcasing detailed planning and collaboration. NAMI’s innovative problem-solving skills were pivotal in allowing the project to meet deadlines and finish under budget. The team’s ability to adapt to evolving circumstances and resolve complex issues highlighted their exceptional skills and dedication. This enabled them to consistently meet and exceed client expectations. This project exemplifies NAMI’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
