Seven Wisconsin members named to Top Performing Contractor List

WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 27, 2024 — Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) announced seven Wisconsin chapter member companies were named to the 2024 Top Performers, annual listings that recognize its accomplished contractor members.

“These companies have demonstrated, through various formal achievements, that they are leading the way in performance, culture and safety,” said John Mielke, president of ABC of Wisconsin. “Congratulations to these top-performing members for raising the bar in safety, quality, inclusion, project excellence and special designations.”

To qualify, Top Performers must achieve Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System, which helps the best-performing contractors achieve incident rates nearly seven times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to ABC’s Safety Performance Report. The majority of the honorees also must earn ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor credential, which recognizes excellence in quality, safety performance, talent management—including inclusion, diversity and merit—craft and management education and community relations.
