St. Anne Parish: Church Nave Renovation

The newly renovated St. Anne Catholic Parish was an 8,912-square-foot full interior renovation of the church nave. The parish brought on Ellis Construction to create a direct focal point, as well as a perceptual connection throughout the space. Ellis facilitated numerous parish design meetings, which were held with as many as 20 participants who collaboratively vetted and ranked design ideas. The renovation duration was five months and consisted of significant demolition, relocating the alter, adding a large custom crafted wooden cross as a focal point, incorporating ramp access in multiple locations, new lighting, ornate custom handrails and metal fabricated guardrails, a glass wall with three pairs of doors to separate and open the entrance foyer, beautiful new light fixtures and new pews. It all creates a warm, respectful, and welcoming feeling. With a dedication mass and ceremony scheduled and on the bishop’s calendar, lead time issues were closely monitored and worked around to ensure this renovation was completed on time and under budget. Ellis self-performed 45% of the trade work.
