The Lincoln Academy

The Lincoln Academy is a tuition-free, 4K-12 charter school initiative by Kids First Beloit, focused on equiping scholars with knowledge and tools to live choice-filled lives. Given an aggressive timeline with no room for failure, Corporate Contractors, Inc. (CCI) and the build-team razed an old grocery store and constructed a remarkable school building by overcoming pandemic-related delays, site challenges and more. There are 23 labs integrated throughout the school, including the mechanical lab to study the mechanical functions of the building, agriculture, applied arts, construction and welding, along with other amazing features to inspire learning. CCI used 360-degree cameras and BIM software to monitor progress and identify any problems. The design set the standard in low energy usage with the Energy Star designation. The team?s expertise, flexibility, and passion ensured its success.
