When the owner decided to pursue a 40,000-square-foot, massive overhaul of a sterile 1980’s-era gym, the company immediately reached out to Corporate Contractors Inc. Accomplished in 10-months, the facility had to remain open to customers during the renovation. It included unique construction elements such as a new functional training gym, a revived basketball court and an endless swimming pool three stories down, which posed many challenges. The contractor repurposed several key features from salvaged materials, such as 80-year-old rustic barn wood, reclaimed veneer brick for the décor and old, refirbished factory lockers, making for a warm, rustic, industrial setting.
