The Duraform Lane Facility was a $7.8 million, 97,500-square-foot facility designed for a unique manufacturing process, which provided some unusual building features. The fast-track construction was completed in 11-months. NAMI provided eight air handling and make up air units, three 500 hp high pressure steam boilers, three steam reducing stations, four air cooled chillers, four plate and frame heat exchangers and 11 pumps for cooling and heating. The equipment-heavy project required very precise temperature and humidity controls. Pre-construction CAD work made this a very successful project, completed on time and under budget.
