Sundara Woodland Retreats

This project involved the development of four specialized woodland retreats and a quiet room at Sundara Inn & Spa as part of their overall expansion. The owners worked with Friede & Associates and its design partner General Engineering to create two four-unit buildings that would be set apart from the main resort and take advantage of an elevated wooded ridge that runs behind the existing spa and along the executive golf course. The units are also connected by an elevated 80-foot skywalk that provides an indoor connection to the main building. Friede utilized a panelized wall system for both speed and budget on this winter project.
