Illumina – New Research Facility

Faith Technologies completed electrical, interior and exterior lighting, lighting controls and protection, generator and switchgear at Illumina’s enzyme manufacturing facility. Faith was able to meet the general contractor’s request to accelerate construction by four months. The switchgear incorporated smart metering allowing Illumina to better monitor energy and respond to any potential interruptions to the power grid. The latest LED lighting and controls technology were installed, including daylighting, occupancy sensors and programmable scenes on a per‐fixture basis. Faith provided design-assist services to install UPS, data cabling, telecommunications and fire alarm systems to maximize the budget and finish ahead of schedule.
