Balanced Rock Winery

Poor weather and soils didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the Balanced Rock Winery project team to produce a beautiful new attraction to the Baraboo. The winery is built on a former industrial site remnant adjacent to the Baraboo Golf Course. By panelizing the walls, Friede & Associates was able to construct the project through the winter. The contractor self-performed 50% of the project. The now 6,000 square foot building includes a beautiful 1,800 square foot tasting area and retail space and includes a 2,500 square foot outdoor seating area for music and grape crushing pad.
