The Boulevard Apartments

The 38-unit Boulevard in Madison proved to be challenging for a number of reasons, including space restrictions. The placement of the site utilities, storm water management system, concrete and asphalt pavement, material handling, staging, and installation of exterior façade materials required careful coordination to keep motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians safe. Substandard soil required undercutting and importing of stone and lean concrete to improve bearing capacity. A complex stone and brick masonry veneer installation and finishing up the retail spaces added even more pressure on an already tight schedule. All challenges were overcome with well-planned execution.
