ABC attends a number of trade shows where the Construction Users’ Guide is widely distributed. Your chapter also distributes hundreds of Construction Users’ Guides to construction users who see ABC’s advertising in many business publications. The Projects of Distinction Awards Program gives the association great projects to highlight to the general public. ABC’s media relations and community service work keeps merit contractors in front of its target audience. Both the chapter and national have made enhancing the image of the merit construction industry a top priority.

Promotion to media
Whether it’s broadcast or print, ABC is constantly working to promote merit shop construction to the media. The chapter generates hundreds of news clippings for the organization and member companies. ABC of Wisconsin has established itself as a source for construction economy statistics.

Contractor Accreditation
This is awarded, through a national program, to those construction firms having demonstrated their commitment in safety, training, employee benefits, and community relations. This award shows the public that you are good corporate citizens who have policies and programs conducive to treating employees as valued assets.

Construction Referral Service (CRS)
The CRS is the number one source for America’s construction users to find the best merit shop contractors and suppliers. When construction users call ABC the CRS generates a report of the ABC contractors and suppliers that meet the user’s criteria. Information is generated regarding the contractors and suppliers construction specialties, business size, and job capabilities.

OpenCompetition.net
This website has been recently been established to fight the union only deal on the Lambeau field renovation. This website will remain online to compliment ABC’s new publication Open Competition. Projects of Distinction Awards Program
This program showcases and publicly recognizes the distinct work performed by ABC of Wisconsin members. Recipients are eligible to enter the ABC National Excellence in Construction Awards Competition. They also receive a crystal award recognizing their construciton team for their distinct work, as well as photos and information promoting their project published in ABC publications and other business/trade publications.

Networking
Your chapter provides a number of opportunities, such as committee meetings, seminars, conventions, golf outings, and other social events. For you to meet and network with other member firms. ABC offers a variety of programs that promote your company to the media, general public, and most importantly, your clients.
