Job Description
Heavy equipment operators install, transport, operate, and maintain heavy machinery such as rigging devices, hoists, and jacks. They may have skills in other trades as well. These workers must be physically fit and able to solve problems. Future career path opportunities include jobs as estimators, inspectors, project managers, trade instructors, and foreman.

Instruction
Heavy Equipment operating classes are held in a block format, which consists of 4 non-consecutrive weeks during the winter months. During the 4 weeks, 2 are held in southern Wisconsin and 2 are held in northern Wisconsin.
