How can I become involved next year?

The December 4^th, 2009 ABC of Wisconsin Skill Competition began early morning at the KI Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin with 36 hopeful construction apprentices  from locations throughout the state registering for the chance to demonstrate their skills.  The first phase of the competition was a written exam.  The second phase was a safety orientation.

By noon, the third phase, the practical, was well underway with sights and sounds of construction in the air as carpentry, sheet metal, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical apprentices worked on projects under the close watch of spectators and judges.

The competitors were rated on skill, workmanship, safety, and efficiency.  The written, safety, and practical scores were then combined to determine the top three competitors in each trade.  First place winners will go on to compete at the ABC National Craft Championships in San Diego, California, which will be held in February 3-7^th, 2010.

Plumbing
